Are half of Twitch female streamers gamer girls or simply cam girls?

I mean, I've always been of the impression that if you truly are a gamer girl, then your streams wouldn't be about YOU but the game you're playing. Case in point, most male streams that are meant to focus on the game will have the male streamer's head in the corner of the screen, with most of the focus being on the actual game. As we all know, famous female streamers like Amouranth, Alinity, Pokimane etc. tend to have their streams mostly focused on THEM.

I'm not saying the average gamer chick needs to be dressed in a sweater and sweatpants just so people won't pay attention to her body. But generally speaking, people tend to dress comfortably for what they do. That means more practical clothes that aren't bringing attention to their bodies. If you're a girl who just happens to be in a tanktop and shorts in your room because it's hot, and it's not your fault if your cleavage shows, that's fine.

Chances are, your stream is still about the game rather than you. I mean, my cousin's a streamer (Allenownz) but his has always been about Fortnite or other popular game streams. I imagine most male streamers are the same way. Popular female streamers I've seen that I could say were at least less focused on them and more on their content were JustAMinx and SweetAnita.

The "more popular" ones just seem like glorified cam girls who use Twitch to direct people to their OFs. Honestly, their wouldn't be half as much criticism if they were simply honest about it and were cam girls through and through instead of pretending to be gamers. I don't have a problem with female gamers. Better it were if that meant Twitch was more about gaming.

Because sex sells and these female streamers all do that. It takes being at least a little self-centered to be a successful streamer.
There are probably hundreds of thousands of girls just like you described that are permenantly stuck at 2views because they are uninteresting, uncharismatic, or unattractive.

And also, to be fair, most vtubers are girl gamers who actually play the games. Though they often have sexualized models still so I guess it isn't THAT different really.

Confirmed to be a groomer with 5 different posted videos, decided that JacksFilms who reacted to her channel was properly responded with by going to his literal real life home and knocking on the door, effectively stalking and doxxing him, then went further and said people were stealing her content.....ya she's gone down the hole of no return and has not only lost monitization on all 3 of her channels but Youtube has gone as far to make a public statement that she's even violated more rules that were not aware of.

The only ones I have ever seen or have known by someone mentioning them are most definitely, without any doubt whatsoever, "Cam Girls."

They're just hustling adolescents and sad people on Twitch rather than some adult cam-site or Onlyfans.

PS: I don't care if the gamer is male or female as long as they're good, informative, and entertaining. I haven't found any female ones that fit those qualifications, but am fine with learning about them if somone has a link. (Don't care, as my streamer/youtuber dance-card is already full. But, I'd bump one off for the right one. :))
