I like the blue/white color scheme, the copious reverb and percussive keyboards, and the extra slidey physics are fun for a one-time gimmick.

Some games have better desert music than others. But I do like the drone and the harmonic minor mode that tend to come along with. If nothing else, desert music tends to be the least Western-sounding music, so it's a nice refreshment for the ear.
