Do you have the time, money, and staff to remake both games?
Do you have the legal rights to do so?
Valve has primarily switched to being a storefront company as they make more money that way.

Are you on MacOS?
Otherwise there isn't really a reason to support 64-bit on such old games. They run perfectly fine on 32-bit, as long as your OS supports it too, which almost all do.

And I would imagine that if Valve does update the Portal games, they would most likely drop Mac support like they did with Half-Life's latest update.

Both games are not that demanding and I remember running them on highest settings back in the day without any problems.

The issue is that Mac OS no longer runs 32 bit software.
