What's the dumbest song you've ever heard?
Some song on a commercial I just heard. it made no sense.

There is no such thing. Even a list of the 100 dumbest songs I (or anyone else) have heard would be leaving off ones that belong on the list.

Its even worse when you learn the origin of it was made by the lead singer going by the name of Stings with the concept of "To escape the public eye, Sting retreated to the Caribbean to evade the clutches of a controlling girlfriend."


The song in of itself is an Americanized version of the Crazy murdering girlfriend concept.

Apparently this girl was not like that, were talking cameras in vents and hiding a knife on her at all times, level of insanity apparently. The fact that its on the wikipedia page is a little worrying because it implies that the dude wrote a song about how insane his girlfriend was instead of..you know, just breaking up...
