Have you ever listened to a full music album through from beginning to end without stopping or ads?
And what's your general age?

I'm in my early 40s and I've listened to many albums from the first song to the end. I've listened to albums with intro songs and songs hidden after long breaks at the end of albums. I've listened to albums on CD, Cassette, and MP3.

I'm curious if younger people even listen to albums all the way through. Some places that sell music don't even have the tracks in the right order when you buy them.

If you have listened to albums all the way through, what's your SINGLE top album you think you've listened through the most?

For me it's probably Korn's self titled debut album.

That's what I'm listening on now. I bought a bunch of albums on Google Music and they got rid of it, but we could download our music and re-upload them to Youtube Music if you want.
yes, a lot of times. almost 42 years old.
Winamp, mp3's and cd's do not have ads, lol. Vynils and casettes too.

single top album - can't decide, too much good stuff
i'm 38. i want to agree on korns debut album but i have three more that compete with it.
cd, cassette and mp3 here too. i'm quite sure people had/have a collection of winamp skins.
Yes I have. I have the album “Hybrid Theory” by “Linkin Park” on CD. Listen to it from start to finish.

Great album!!

And what's your general age? ..

>50

And, yes, I listened to every album I ever bought, borrowed, or recorded for personal use... all the way through from beginning to end.

But, people do not tend to buy "albums" these days. They buy songs and/or dump stuff on a Spotify playlist. So, many times, there are fans not of an "artist" but of just certain songs by an artist. I feel they're sort of missing out on what could be a deeper appreciation of an artist's work... or the realization that most of that artist's other work is crap.. :)

But, simply put - Publishers figured out they could make more money by selling something piecemeal, per song, than a whole album and... I guess "albums" may as well no longer exist.

The Rock Opera album is dead.
All the time. I listen to complete CDs at home, and while travelling long distance in my car.

Single top album is probably Paradise Theater, by Styx.
Although Roll The Bones, by Rush, is moving up fast.

And I am well past 50.

All the time. I have a physical CD library of over 1500 all now ripped of course to FLAC and kept on a NAS.

I also buy high-res albums digitally, if it's one track that catches my attention I'll still buy the artist's entire album.

I subscribe to Qobuz but rarely use it just for streaming.

Too many great and favourite albums to choose one. So I'll list what I consider currently a top 5:

(INPO)

Rush - Moving Pictures
Tears For Fears - The Hurting
Depeche Mode - Violator
London Grammar - Truth is a Beautiful Thing
Jane's Addiction - Nothing's Shocking

I am 33 yo.
I do kinda often, and I'm 25. When it comes to albums I've listened all the way through the most, it'd be either Virus by Haken or Eat The Elephant by A Perfect Circle.

Favorite album is Quiet World by Native Construct though.

Rarely, unless it's DSOTM. I only listen to that from beginning to end, no interruptions.

Good thing it's a relatively short record.
