What about unproven scientific theories?

That demonstrates you don't understand what the term theory is then.

The term THEORY, in the colloquial sense means not much mroe than a guess. In the scientific sense it is the HIGHEST pinnacle of evidence. When something become a law (such as the law of gravity) it's on the THEORY.

You shouldn't conflate the two things.

It works like this - someone has an idea about how something works. They test and detail how they do it. If their predictions come back correct, they continue testing and may alter the variables a bit. Everything so that they can ACCURATELY keep predicting.

When that happens, they then publish the exact details for their peers (or anyone) to freely test themselves or poke holes in it.

Only when this has been gone through and shown to be correct it then becomes a THEORY. Like the theory of evolution, or gravity.

So there aren't really any such thing as unproven scintific theories as that's a contraidction.

peoples just simply refusing to accept that things just exist without any meaning and purpose.

the universe existing by itself is not a proof that it's been created by something that can be considered as intelligent or have a will of it's own.

god might exist but there is no way to fully prove or disprove it's existence without any doubt purely based on mere arguments.

Hmm, not really! Christianity has the same amount of evidence (none) of being "true" as any other religion, including atheism, there's nothing special about Christianity.

In my opinion it's one of the worse monotheistic religions because it involves the worship of a deity in a human body, which is a big no-no to anyone who has actual respect for real monotheism.

Well at least if science turns out to be wrong it can change to adapt to new information. Would that happen with your bible? I think not as some of you still think pork is evil based on 2000 year old testimonies that (I believe) are masquerading as the word of God.
