The sound of "broken bones" when you fall from too big height... Yuuuuck.
I remember when I first tried out Minecraft it was the original pocket edition demo which used the old "OOMF" sound whenever you took damage. I thought it was hilarious.

Seems like every FPS from like the PS1 days or so had a very similar "OOMF" sound and it would repeat every time you took damage, including for every bullet from a machine gun.

I could totally be making that up but a part of me seems to remember that.

I remember that being somewhat the case in Minecraft. It was impossible not to laugh while standing on top of a cactus.

The lady robot voice in No Man's Sky who thinks "alert" is pronounced "ALUTT."

There's an "R" in there you.... PRONOUNCE IT.

One thing Ted Nugent got right. He sings the letter R when it's in a word. Like a boss.

Any other rocker would have been like "Cat scratch fevaaaahhh." Not Ted.

I bet he says "Alert" too. Not Alutt.
Maybe I don't wanna pronounce the r.
A good chunk of stock firearm SFX get a little annoying to me. This is despite knowing that some of the sounds are actual recorded firearm sounds. They all feel weirdly "fake" to me.
Dark Souls ♥♥♥ sound.

Reminds me of Double from MMX4. I have no idea what he's actually saying, but it sounds like "Beaver Fly" to me, except "Beava" instead of "Beaver."

Old school Capcom voice acting was definitely among the worst voice acting of all time, lol.

On csgo you could hear the hostages breathing anxiously... :steambored:

That gave me tensión...

Idk if in cs2 it still sounds, I have not played Office yet... :steambored:

In Bannerlord, drinking and pouring drinks in taverns. Very annoying when playing a minigame. I just turn the sound off when they do it and play games in peace.
I get very easily "weary" hearing sounds or music constantly, so I mute my games and put the sound back on whenever a character starts saying something relevant (i.e. gives info on where to go to start a quest).

Aesop Rock pronounces all his Rs, too. Which is exceedingly rare in Rap.

If I may, the voice actress for the suit is Josie Taylor - from the UK (as in British), who has also done voices in Baldur's Gate III recently - it's just her Brit accent. Source: Paul Weir, Audio Director for No Man's Sky

[well technically the american colonies have the 'accent', she is speaking English by English how English 'should' be spoken, and technically we who live across the pond only speak a dialect of true English and we don't technically speak actual English - we speak American English (dialect)...]

Thanks for the background info, Tesityr. I suppose hearing my suit say "alert" in any accent at all would end up being annoying. Upon further reflection.
