People are not purchasing EVs at the rate desired by the government.
Electric cars and trucks are piling up on dealer lots, causing auto companies to reassess their investment plans. General Motors recently had to buy out almost half of the Buick dealerships nationwide as they refused to re-tool their service departments for EVs.

Ford Motor Company faced similar issues as almost half of Ford dealerships said that they do not want to sell electric vehicles. The flagship Ford F-100 Lighting is not selling and the CEO said that trying to drive an F-150 cross-country forced him to experience a reality check as they are just not selling.

Like wind and solar power the advertising (propaganda) has far out stretched the actual capabilities of these so called "Green" products.

Well we're not hitting our climate targets either.
maybe we should open some more lithium mines, that'll fix it

If we built or utilized any of our technology correctly it might.
If they make EV cheaper than gas cars then maybe i'll consider it.
Hydrogen fuel cells not e.g. is proper path

I think it would take 2 weeks to charge an ev off our green off grid solar

But what if you had an off grid hydrogen fuel cell?
CHECKMATE, COALROLLER!

They're probably more useful for the commercially-available home battery.

A lot of people have 1 or 2 kw panels but never use it all. Electric companies just scoop it all up for themselves.

I bet you could direct dip the ends of the 20 solar panels into water and collect the h more efficiently

Would b so dangerous is joke lol
100 watts max would be 2kilowats of h at once and excess oxygen would go boom boom

For example today made 700 watts total partly sunny

Battery is what 45 kilowatts in a car?
So 50 days or more to do 1 charge with no power extra for house

Why would you buy a car that can go thousands of miles without break, when you can buy a car that can go a couple hours.

hydrogen fuel distillation is an issue because it makes rocket fuel development in a home setting more viable.

it's otherwise the more sensible option for a daily driver or any of the situations you normally want a car for.

evs have a market as town cars.

Yep, and it would also be nice if they told in their ads that eventually (5 to 7 years) they will have to change those batteries and it will cost the price of changing the whole engine on a gas vehicle ($8000 to $20.000)

Oh Boy, You know how they can do that?!

Have the government own the dealerships and the power grid. Then like with Printers, sell the cars dirt cheap and make the electricity cost an arm and the leg.

Or sell the dealerships and the car companies to the power companies, because bigger business is better in america. And they can sell the cars cheap and power high. And if it doesn't work out, the gov can say they are too big to fail.
Is it any wonder, especially since the infrastructure just isn't there?
It pretty much requires dirty power to charge those 45 kilowatts batteries. Green tech isn't that powerful yet except hydro which kills salmon.
Probably because they're ♥♥♥♥.
They get recalled faster than they're purchased.
Well nobody really buys the climate change stick. The folks who claim to believe in it don't act like it.

And the EV themselves suck. They catch on fire, They aren't really that green. Chances are your car at some point was made through actual slavery. And they don't really work that well. They dont' hold the charge and the charging stations are not convenient.

And because EV folks are screwing it up for the rest of us with their climate agenda, it's pissing people off and many are doing all sorts of shady things with the charging station.

People having their car in the spot and charging money to move. Sabotaging the stations. Or unhooking peoples charge.
