These are Steam keys, once they are activated on an account, they can no longer be used on any other Steam account. The OP couldn't use them again even if he wanted to.
Even if you remove them from the account from which they were activated, the instant you remove it from the account, the key is invalid.
Furthermore, it's pretty common for people to give away their excess of keys from bundles. I even made a giveaway myself in the past (on Reddit) with one of those and it's legit.
You can even compare the list that Mr. Pink gave here and match it with one bundle from Humble or another. They do not sell stolen keys.
If a key is found to have been obtained fraudulently, the developer can revoke that key, thus removing the game from the library.
How do I know this? Because of all the games I have on my account, only two were removed.
One, a developer removed the key because they thought they were all obtained fraudulently. Within a week, everyone affected had new keys.
The other, the developer accidentally removed the game from everyone's account. Within a day, the game was restored to all accounts.
so you both were talking about two different things. just wanted to clear that up
wish you merry Christmas and a good one for 2024.
