Why do people 'go nuts' for doughnuts?
Why do people 'go nuts' for doughnuts?

Doughnuts are merely doughcakes with the holes removed! Someone was either cutting costs, or got lazy!

I only eat the holes
There are no nuts in a doughnut.
The difference a doughnut, a bagel, and a lifesaver are the same. Someone was either cutting costs, or got lazy!
The ones that are filled inside are super good, but my favorite pastry is mille-feuille, raisin bread, almond bread...

Some do.

But you can prove that doughnuts do not have a hole. Eat the doughnut and then where is the hole?
I comply with the Donut Patrol.
It's the texture of the dough i like then the icing if you want it or the jam / custard / chocolate on the inside.
I once ate two dozen (24) crispy creme donuts before work. Pulled into mcdonalds parking lot, in a panic to get to the bathroom, didnt make it inside, a powerful soft serve geyser ejaculating from my mouth painting the parking lot thoroughly, 24 donuts never again.
They donut

OT needs more stories like this. Thank you for your service.
I don't eat doughnuts often because I find them too sweet, especially the American ones that are covered in glaze. But the ones I like best are the Russian donutes, they have a slightly different recipe https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyshka. They are deep-fried and often sprinkled with powdered sugar and they are eaten hot. I would definitely like to try Churros, but in Moscow this type of pastry is not very popular and is sold only in one place in exhibition pavilions.

Butterballs are also low in sweetness and covered in confectioners sugar.
Some call them Russian Tea Cakes but I'm not sure that's the actual country of origin, as supposedly it's a U.S. thing. Some also call them Mexican Wedding Cookies.

Low in sweetness, but still a load of unhealthy carbs. Why do delicious things have to kill us?
