There are two types that I have seen:

1. Text-to-speech or rarely voice over reading comments or whatever.
   
2. Someone reacting and saying stuff on images, clips and GIFs.

What do you think of these channels? There are so many of these. Some even have over 10k subscribers. Heck I have even seen ones with more than 100k subscribers.
What is the appeal?

What I think of them? They exist and they are just there. Not my cup of tea.

Reddit is already bad so this would be super bad. People live in their own crazy worlds and nowadays a lot of that is online.

Yeah, pretty much. There is a channel that hired people to do voice over and those people also have a channel where they do the same thing. They do the same thing.
