I wont go on because simply this is all I can name off the top of my head, point is that no nation that exists or has existed was free of their evils people.
If you don't mind, what's your grandmother's nationality?
I'm sorry but true Asians live in a holier world than we do, they never seek conflict and prefer to spread positivity, I have a lot of admiration for that and I hope they don't become like us, wasting so much time on trivialities.
you guys never live in asian country and you think your anime/k-pop or your asain amercan person same as asian from asain country lol.
No one is innocent on either side.
But of course, can you tell me which country Japan allied itself with during WW2? And the real reason for his invasion of China and Korea?
That said, if were talking of their reason(s) then it came down to the same reason as to why they bombed Pearl Harbor, they wanted to take the natural resources they could get while removing anything that would dare stand between them and those resources, they claimed it was divine destiny however on that coin, not many in Japan still believed those claims, especially the Japanese admiral who even told the government himself after Pearl Harbor and the responding invasion of China:
"Should hostilities once break out between Japan and the United States, it is not enough that we take Guam and the Philippines, nor even Hawaii and San Francisco. To make victory certain, we would have to march into Washington and dictate the terms of peace in the White House. I wonder if our politicians, among whom armchair arguments about war are being glibly bandied about in the name of state politics, have confidence as to the final outcome and are prepared to make the necessary sacrifices."
So its bad when your admiral of the navy makes it damn clear how stupid you are (not specifically you, I'm mean the Japanese Empire government) to their face directly yet still doing what he was ordered...
