I was looking to earth from space
USA does look like it invaded by ufo's!
but don't worry when I zoomed in I could see they all crop circles.

question is now: why do you grow crops in a big circle? why not just shape of football field like in the rest of the world?

Is it in defence against all those there that want to make circles in crops? so you grow it in a circle so they can't ruin it with fake alien circles cause it already a circle now? I hope this is the reason :steamhappy:

Usually the circle fields are centered around a pump for irrigation. That is what happens if you try to farm a arid area.

I don't know but in Resident Alien the Alien guy we all like because he speaks it like it is to everybody says he uses crop circles to communicate to other aliens. You will have to watch series one and two to figure out what he said in the crop circle.

This. The central point irrigation systems rely on a single point for irrigating the crops and automatically crawls around the field to deliver water to even the furthest part of the field. Not all farms are circles though, others are all sorts of shapes other than rectangles.

Circles are the best way to show off your grasp of infitescimals.

ah this make sense, I seen farms in starfield because of this but I not thinking about how arid that region in usa actually is when I first seen from space view now.
It does look like a desert when zooming out it not green at all but more brownish/red/yellow like sand or stone can be.
here we have like ditches for watering the land, which is ofcourse easier to dig in a line than in a circle so they become rectangles.
