1990's it has been .. that decade which "invented" games, gaming and gaming categories. the 90's had been the godfather of gaming..
With the PC, late 1990's- mid 2000's. The best time period for PC gaming, because during this time period, the PC was still so far advanced from the console. Gaming innovation was on the PC at this time. Quake, UT, UT2004, AoE, AoE2, Half Life, Half Life2, Medal of Honor, BF1942, Team fortress 2, the modding scene, high speed internet connection, lan parties, PC building, high resolution graphics, etc... It all seemed all so new, and exciting back then. Now, we take it all for granted.
Most of the best games I’ve ever played were from the last decade.
Else the 90´s were a garbage decade, but luckily the 2000s fixed that....
