I could go on for days about that. Sometimes they are small things, but there are lots and lots of those things. For example, something I ran into earlier today: Windows has an emoji window, but it is tiny with a scrollbar and FIXED SIZE. So now I have to scroll through those emoji in a tiny container, while it could easily fit all of them if it was resizable. That's just stupid, and annoying to use.

thats the user fault no windows and ofc if the folder wasn't has normal permissions you need to change it first because FTP and other sharing protocol exited.

you know most people don't care about emoji? also some text edotir allow you to pick emoji after typing ":"
the only way it be his fault is if he changed permissions of his own will, which he isn't doing. IF the OS is creating folders via commands send by his current admin profile and somehow locks out administrator permission than it's a fault of the Os ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up dude

it is easy to stop but it gets revoked again via some admin account which you cant delete since it will break the system if you logout of your account.
I mean, I jsut use a third party firewall and block outgoing ♥♥♥♥ to mcirosoft by default...

i think its most annoying to people that basically got their life in front of a screen, i imagine if you got nothing else to do it is ridiculous same if you got some heart rate thing that gets hacked via wifi which is why not all people get why and how annoying it is to get hacked every day on the os, perhaps people that hack are not in same position and dont understand the irony of that situation.

Another thing I can think of is that those files are put there by TrustedInstaller or something. Idk exactly, I don't have a specific case in mind at the moment. There might be multiple different cases.

Maybe? It's beyond my knowledge of the OS to make that judgement. I don't -think- that should happen though. Im sure you could trace the command that made the folder each time and figure out what happened by I suspect you'll need to record the details and call a formal expert to figure it out(which will cost you $200 or so minimum)

Nah that's not necessary. I can take ownership of the file and then it will work (mostly). But the point is, I am sure that there's something wrong in those cases. If I am admin, it should never tell me that I need permissions from admin.

He's saying he can't find the policy editor at all. Bit weird. Unless he has the Ultra Noob edition or smth.

Omg you're not an MS fanboy are you? If I am admin and it says "You need permission from admin", that is clearly the OS's fault.

It's not about that, it's just one of the gazillion examples of bad design.
You don't have to insult people because they don't fit your agenda. The reason you can't normally overwrite certain files in Windows are owned by the user account TrustedInstaller due to Windows Resource Protection.
You also normally can't overwrite files that are opened by another program due to the file locking mechanism in the Windows kernel.

MS fanboy is a pretty bad insult, I admit. Maybe I went too far.

If there is indeed a good reason for it, it should at least give better error messages.

because the "other" user removed it you can add it again if the drive connected to your pc, its good for FTP sharing as i said

it's still "not usable", properly Microsoft did that for touch input

Glad that you mention that. That's indeed one of the other major annoyances. Why does EVERYONE have to put up with this ugly square bs design, regardless of device?

It would look good on a phone maybe, but on a desktop PC it results in 60-90% of screen real estate simply not being used. And if you need actual settings, instead of just the ones which are aimed at computer illiterates, you end up with the old config screen which has been the same ever since Windows 3.11. If you are even able to find it. It looks terrible and it works terrible.

tablet Desktop exited it's great if you have a device that use pen,

I agree it's better if you can switch between touch/mouse input layout design instead of "hybrid".

but cmoon no one use that emoji panel and not that "unusable" level .

Forget about that emoji panel. I can go on forever. You know UWP? Omg what a disaster. You need to have like 12 different services running for the Store to even work. Of course you need a fokkin M$ account. And M$ decided that UWP should support controllers for some reason.

Well, I happen to use a gamepad instead of a mouse, and therefore all UWP apps are now majorly messed up because they will respond to the inputs natively, which conflicts with the mouse emulation in a bad way. Well, you will say, I can just disable UWP controller support, right? Wrong. That is IMPOSSIBLE.

yeah but UMP was in the past, andriod tablet and phone versions were bad in the past, now we have WinUI3

everyone did something bad in the past you cant find 100% right thing from start to end.

can you use your phone without google account? yes but without store same as windows.

i think it's great to have my windows licences and my paid apps to my ms account.
