My argument is not "No one will vote for Harris because she was not the winner of the Democratic Primary", which is seemingly what you think it is.
My response was to this post:
I'm agreeing with the Walz over Shapiro pick being a bad pick because it shows she's further left than moderate (which is what the US is, and she needs to appear more moderate than she is to be successful in the race). And disagreeing with the idea that the US isn't ready for a female president.
I argued that instead of it being a "not ready for female POTUS" issue, it's 2 parter:
1) she's too far left and isn't doing enough to appeal to moderates and
2) her being appointed instead of elected in the Primary put off a great number of voters. Voters didn't have a say in the matter. And that is going to play into her losing momentum, losing support over time, an obstacle to overcome in the first place, etc. She has to get out in front of it, but she hasn't been. Polls and projections have been saying this for a while now. This isn't anything new or revolutionary.
Of course it is possible she can win. No one said otherwise. The issue is that her hurdles are not that of being a woman, but that of being too left and not being someone that the people got behind with in the first place (the people really disliked her in 2020 and all during her VP years).
No. He would have better represented the people because he's the incumbent POTUS, was sufficiently supported by Dems, and there were no challengers. This is often the case for incumbent Presidents (Obama, Bush, Clinton, Reagan, etc.). Harris was not the incumbent POTUS, she was never voted to be.
It was.
It was part of your claim. So don't try to claim that it wasn't.
If it is 50% of your claim, it is still your claim. And if that part is wrong, your claim is wrong.
Then why does Harris poll better than Biden did?
For the record: Harris is the incumbent Vice President. People voted for Biden/Harris. Don't try to claim that Harris came out of nowhere and was picked by the globalist illuminate lizard people without any previous history or connection to the current presidency. People already voted for her by voting for the Biden/Harris combination.
Her role as Vice President is specifically for taking over in case the presdient is unavailable. Biden is no longer available as candidate. Her taking over makes 100% sense.

Trump / Vance 2024
There's always a surge when there's a new candidate. And as projections and polls have been showing, it was indeed a surge. And what's been happening over the last couple weeks is that the surge is flattening out.
People voted for Biden. No one votes for a team, no one votes for a President based on their VP pick. The VP has little to no influence on Presidential elections.
Harris was in the 2020 Primary against Biden. She did horrible, which is why she dropped out.
Harris was a DEI hire. Biden said early in the year (2020), prior to any primaries, that he would select a minority woman to be his VP. Harris wasn't selected by the people, she wasn't popular with the people, she was criticized and made fun of by nearly everyone, including MSM.
This helps decrease the lead that Trump (by 3 pts) has in the projected Electoral Votes.

I suspect postings are going to get a lot worse as we get closer to the election day, but repeating blatant Russian propaganda that is being investigated by the DOJ is ridiculous.
"To start, it’s critical to note that the origins of these racist posts, from some of the highest levels of the US government, can seemingly be traced to a single falsehood. Here’s what happened. A participant of a random (exceedingly obscure) Facebook group that discusses local criminal activity in Springfield, Ohio, warned that a friend of their neighbor’s daughter had recently lost her cat, before describing an unfounded trend of Haitians eating cats they had found on the street. From there, a rumor started claiming that Haitian immigrants kidnapping and eating cats—a claim police have since roundly debunked—and quickly spread to the screenshots of some of the far-right’s most prominent figures, including Charlie Kirk, before landing in Elon Musk’s universe. (How no one stopped to question whether to believe a random Facebook post from the girlfriend-in-Canada telephone lineage of “neighbor’s daughter’s friend” is beyond my understanding.)
From there, it was JD Vance, the most embarrassingly online vice presidential candidate in history—with his long record of vilifying Haitian immigrants in his home state—who proved to be the accelerant in mainstreaming the lie within the GOP:
As Tim Murphy once wrote about how the modern GOP has moved far past the dog whistle to pure racism: "Our politicians aren’t dog-whistling racism to win racist votes in a calculated game. They’re just racist. And realizing that is for the best. After all, the euphemisms politicians use are never just euphemisms. When racist white people talk about “the schools” or “the neighborhood,” those aren’t stand-ins for something deeper and more nefarious: Those are the deeper and more nefarious things, the load-bearing pillars of structural racism. This speech isn’t coded so much as it’s loaded."

He then kept emphasizing this for a year until Harris was selected)
As Biden said:
“If I’m elected president, my Cabinet, my administration will look like the country, and I commit that I will, in fact, appoint a, pick a woman to be vice president,” Biden said at the CNN-Univision debate in Washington, DC.
Biden has said in the past that he would prefer to pick someone “of color and/or a different gender” as his running mate,
https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/15/politics/joe-biden-woman-vice-president/index.html (March 2020)
Another source:
“I commit that if I’m elected President and I have an opportunity to appoint someone to the courts, I’ll appoint the first black woman to the Court,” said Vice President Biden, meaning the Supreme Court.
He's all about the DEI.

Don't like him going the route of DEI? Take it up with him, not the media outlets who report it (like CNN and Time).
In June 2020, he double-downed and said there were 4 black woman he was choosing between: https://www.msnbc.com/the-reidout/watch/biden-says-four-black-women-are-on-his-vp-list-88032325600
As early as Aug 2019, he told us he was going to do that:
"Whomever I pick, preferably it will be someone who was of color and/or a different gender, "

1) How is this the first you guys have ever heard of this? Could it be that non-Americans just aren't as informed about American politics as Americans are?
2) How is Biden saying that, MSM reporting it, and people repeating MSD, Russian propaganda?
3) Do you understand the psychological concept known as "projection"?
Yeahhhh that sounds like the year to vote Libertarian for sure lol, that's about as bad as it could get.
