Candidates don't get bonus electors for higher scores.
And CA is never going to go red again until the San Andreas ruptures and it's falling into the Pacific.

Florida also has the third most electoral votes. More than New York and Illinois.
I don´t really see any point in this tbh.
If you want to talk and guess about something, then you should list the battlefield states, because the American election is not about the popular vote, nor a singular state, its about getting enough EC..
Trump is leading in 5 of them and Harris in 2
https://www.realclearpolling.com/polls/president/general/2024/trump-vs-harris
Trump is leading
Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania
Harris is leading.
Michigan and Wisconsin
If we look at EC from these, then Trump is on the important battlefields leading with (score below)
Trump EC 68
Harris EC 25
Personally, as I have said a few times.. I think these polls are pointless.. These are ofc state voters only, so they are not just random people from cross states.. but overall its still just 1000-1500 people asked randomly in the state.
People in polls might.
Change their mind
Not vote
Fake a candidate
Not be able to vote (age and citizen status)
So forth.
Overall its pointless alone and there have been polls that were 68 points wrong.... think about that for a secound... 68.... points..
With that being said, its pretty clear and obvious what states will already be red or blue, then we have these few swing states and key battle states... those are really the only interesting thing.. in most states where its basically already determinated whom will win the EC, almost half the votes are null and void, due to the system.. Its not very democratic after all.
