If DEI is so wonderful why can't we talk about it?

The issue is, that the Right is claiming, that somebody, who is hired because of DEI automatically is inferior, just because he was hired this way. Completely ignoring the fact, that you also need to be qualified for that particular job in order to get it. But if there is the choice between equally qualified candidates DEI says, that minorites should be prioritised, because they are under-represented.

Assuming that someone is a less capable worker, just because he was hired due to DEI is actually racist, because it assumes, that minorities are less capable than non-minorites.

You can be a "DEI hire" and still be competent in your job. It's not mutually exclusive.

If you want to criticse Harris for her performance in the past, fine. Do that. But make it based on her person and not her race.
