There's a name for this kind of rhetorical strategy. Steve Bannon called it 'flooding the zone' which entailed posting so much nonsense that people couldn't discern facts from disinformation. There's yet another more formal term for this strategy as well. It's called 'Gish Gallop' which is a fallacious debate tactic of drowning your opponent in a flood of individually weak arguments in order to prevent rebuttal of the whole argument collection without great effort.

It's essentially a conveyor belt-fed version of the on the spot fallacy, as it's unreasonable for anyone to have a well-composed answer immediately available to every argument present in the Gallop. It's what Trump used on the debate stage.

it's easily countered because they go overboard and the truth just stands out more... you just gotta tune it out (they love that!) and pay attention to the Quiet Majority...:-)

It's not as easy as you claim. But to test our hypotheses, I'd like you to try and have a reasonable discussion with anyone on this thread that employs the Gish Gallop.

No one who's not drawing a paycheck from the DNC is still supporting Biden after last Thursday.

there's been some good discussions in here, but again... there's alot of noise... whenever both sides begin what appears at first glance to be a respectable discussion, they turn up the noise that's all... after all, we can't have both sides getting along... that would go against their twisted interpretation of the Constitution...:-)
