The Post Harris/Walz 2024 thread
"Somehow Palpatine returned"

For 'reasons,' maga republicans chose to write the next chapter of american political history by aping the plot device of the worst of the Star Wars films.

*Donald Trump is a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist.

hours after he instructed them to "Fight Like Hell"...

hardly a "Peaceful Transfer of Power"... you also left out the part where he violates the Espionage Act on his way out the door...:-)
Sorry I don't believe in left-wing conspiracy theories. Claims that Trump tried to hold onto power by telling people to be peaceful and not using the military...yeahs that's a great plan...lure them into a false sense of security and then strike right? Maybe use the Elves of Gondor and the Lizard People to storm their flanks?

Maybe space lazers?

Trump thought he could stop Joe Biden's presidency by literally refusing to leave the White House.

What most Americans don't understand was why the US Capital riot even happened. It was not a protest.

There was republican party members setup as fake US electors sent to the US Capital, along with a state forged document signed to try overthrow the US election, claiming Trump won instead of Joe Biden.

Mike Pence at the US Capital was meant to those fakes as Trump being the winner of the election, but denied that amount of corruption and hense the mob mentality of Trump chanted "Hang Mike Pence" as a result to not conforming their their puppetry and not rigging the US election. The US Capital riot occurred due to that, again not a protest but rather an act of insurrection.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3guirxwrXc

Since it's an act of insurrection which goes against your US Constitution 14th Amendment, Trump is now trying to illogically lie and scapegoat another for it instead of himself, hense Trump quote "I think it was an insurrection caused by Nancy Pelosi". The same old Trump DARVO tactics, he uses time and time again, pretty much proclaiming his own guilt to the world but trying to shift blame and scapegoat another for it.

It's key to understand Trump illogical logic and personal disorder, he claims he thinks it's an "insurrection" (which is actually a referral upon himself) and therefore needs to cover that up to blame upon another to take the fall for.

Go back and take a look at anything and everything Trump has proclaimed before, it's always the same tactic. Even Joe Biden assumed to be pooping, is merely just a shift focus cover up for the real world reality of confirmed Diaper Don, etc. Rinse and repeat.

The real interesting thing is Trump will tell you everything he does, he can't even help it.

Very articulate post Azza, couldn't have said it better myself.
Democrats cheated and had lots of evidence of their cheating. You don't need to kick out court order poll watchers and block their views with poster boards (the famous picture/meme) if one is innocent.

Exactly. Trump, a convicted felon and rapist, has no idea how the economy works except to utter bandwagon political slogans to appear as though he's relevant. Blaming Biden and then taking credit is his whole 'economic policy.'
Trump left office inflation was 1.4. Joe Biden Inflation Reduction Act made inflation worse. Joe Biden now lies and claims that inflation was 9.1 when he came into office.
Whitehouse PR team misinformation = debunked.

Michael Cohen, who was originally very close and loyal to Trump (before the Hush Money and Trump refusing to pay him), once described himself as Donald Trump's “spokesman, thug, pit bull and lawless lawyer".

He compared Trump's business practices, which he suggested was both legal and illegal, to be that of a "mob boss". He was Trump's "fixer". Did "catch-and-kill" schemes for Trump, in involved paying out hush money to multiple sexual harassment cases, in which Stormy Daniels was just one of many. Even had Mafia code he used with Trump and called him the "Don". He also suggested Trump dealt with members in organized crime, including those linked to "mob crime".

Trump's mob ties include the creator of Trump Tower and his Trump Plaza apartment building in Manhattan. It involved Mafia chieftains Anthony “Fat Tony” Salerno and Paul Castellano.

Trump had a personal connection to some of the city's most powerful mobsters through his friend, mentor, and lawyer Roy Cohn. That included "Fat Tony" Salerno, Carmine Galante, and Paul Castellano, bosses in the Genovese, Bonanno, and Gambino crime families.

Once of the tactics was mob-controlled construction sites, in which Trump would purchase an artificially overpriced concrete for his construction works. "Fat Tony" Salerno was later indicted on racketeering charges for an $8 million concrete deal made for a Trump development.

This is a really interesting Netflix look into Trump's secret Mob life. Yes, it's a true story documentary and mentions Donald Trump in it...

Well before Trump was even considering being an US president, he was being investigated for his Mob ties and questionable business practices.

No, then-President Donald Trump did not call neo-Nazis and white supremacists "very fine people" in 2017. Speaking about a deadly protest in Charlottesville, Virginia, he said those groups should be "condemned totally."
