What is one bug in a game that turned in to a feature?
Title.

Doesn't have to be a game in Steam

Rocket jumping in Team Fortress 2, it all started in Team Fortress mod for Quake.
Also the Spy class in Team Fortress also was a result of a bug.

Fighting game combos were a glitch in Street Fighter II.

As the game was being built, its developers discovered that hitting the buttons for a move could cut the previous move's animation short. This interaction let one attack flow directly into another without time for the opponent to fight back. The developers at Capcom thought this interaction would be too challenging to trigger reliably, so they left it in the game. Combos are now integral parts of the best fighting games on the market.

Rocket Jumping was popularized in original Quake and Quake 2, before the TF mod was invented.

By the time TF2 came out, they very definitely included it deliberately.

The aliens in Space Invaders moving faster as more of them were destroyed was unintended, but is often cited as the beginning of a difficulty curve.

It's true.

It was suppose to be a pig.

Planes falling out of the sky in San Andreas was a bug but they left it in for obvious reasons.
