What would you choose, CD or digital format, for music?
CD contains high quality of sound, meanwhile stream service has a wide range of selection.

I really love playing a CD, because it sounds the best with speakers.

In other hand, a lot of songs don't have their own physical form. That's why I play them via Spotify. But, somehow these Spotify songs sound weird on speakers despite they sound well with headphone. I'm sure it isn't my speakers' problem because it goes well with FLAC files ripped off from CD.

Because of that, I always choose CD when a new album released.

How about you?

So yeah if you want best quality from the two options go CD.

CD shouldn't have a difference in sound compared to hard drive or streaming. Maybe spotify is giving you less quality audio?

Digital, I get all of my music from the internet

Maybe. I often use my mobile data to play Spotify.

CD is digital.

I'm literally back to FM, lol. 4G is so mother blanking bad in 2023 that streaming is out of the question even on the so-called "high speed" portion of the plan, and after eighteen years of youtube I'm not paying for CDs ever again, lol.

It's contained in a physical form.

Yes, it's a denotatively odd juxtaposition, but in this context, "digital" is understood to mean digitally distributed over the internet.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Im a huge fan of physical media, so it would be CD for me. With physical, it's a collection you can own and display. Will still hold some value years down the line unlike it's digital counterpart.

With streaming services like spotify, they control everything and you will own nothing. Physical on the other hand is there and you own it to do what you wish.

Only if you ignore the fundamental cause of the difference between the two digital formats, as I explained above.

Digital because of Apple's Dolby Atmos Music.

Hey, you know what you should do? You should get a Bluray player and listen to these:

24 bits at 96k (or even 192k) as opposed to 16 bits at 44.1k
