It was a joke about conspiracy/coincidence. I wasn't trying to make a political statement which is why I deliberately used the word "accused".

I could just as easily used any other political figure, that was just the 1st one that came to mind, and Donald Duck is a much funnier comparison.

Using Bill Clinton and Bill Bixby wouldn't have gotten any laughs.
