It was my chance to go there to reveal my work, but since everyone is making craptastic games, the quality tends to decline anyhow. It's considered a huge letdown for the industry.

I was actually just thinking about this earlier. There's quite a bit of saturation to contend with at this point, even in cases like Limbo where part of the marketing was that it's a one man project.

Yeah, it was inaccessible for us gamers. I don't know what other game trade shows left now. I may go to Chiba for my work at the Tokyo Game Show, but I'm not going to Germany for Gamescom. Then of course, there's the Game Developers Conference.
