roblox sucks

the game itself is kinda good but the community is actually one of the worst.

i joined this game where you rent booths and put stuff on them and there were a bunch of people who were definitely under 13 dressed like soldiers and they went from booth to booth harassing the booth owners.

i also found people dressing up as kkk members and said tons of horrible things towards blacks.

i also found someone dressed as hetler who had a 2 signs, one had a picture of hetler the other had a sign that had some text on it i cant remember.

i see why most people say they hate roblox, and i kind of agree even though i have been playing for many years.

Never played Roblox... but I've played Roblox knockoffs...

But anyway... welcome to most games... welcome to the Internet

Most trolls do that, it's easy to get a rise out of people by doing it... best just to ignore them and move on....

I have had a similar experience with racism in multiplayer games; for instance, when I played this virtual reality game before, it was just filled with racist people doing terribly racist things. It was so obnoxious that I had to quit that game.

yeah. i feel quitting roblox, theres too much bad stuff in the game

Yeah, all that sort of stuff will do is bring you down in the long run.

Like, when I would play that virtual game, you could use pens to write stuff, and I would sign my name with the star of David at the end, and when I would come back, I would almost always see a swastika or something antisemitic near it. I mostly played that game to find people to chill with, but I quickly learned that it was mostly just full of trolls, and the negativity far outweighed the good. So yeah, life is too short to be around that negative stuff.

kids.
trolls.
and pedos.

Roblox is not a game, Roblox is a platform/community where you can also both develop and play free games.

A lot of young adults (like yourself) actually use roblox for their creativity, some because they can´t figure out to actually code or ie be creative in stuff like Blender etc..

Some play games with their kids (I´ve tried it, albeit this is over 10 years ago.) Some just like the casual exprience. But you are right about that there are a lot of kids (its a good starter platform for them) and there are lots of teens and young adults as well.

There are also a lot of neurodiverse people that (learning the online life) that goes for steam to as well.. overall Roblox is good.

With that said, (like any modern platform) parents should ofc talk with their kids about it and watch what they play and restrict (you can age restrict I think)
