What do you guys think is the reason the MCU/Disney is failing?

I mean, money wise, I'm sure you can say they're still doing financially well, but in terms of their movies pulling the same numbers and interest as the Infinity Saga, they've obviously been lacking. So I'm curious to hear people's thoughts here as to why that is and what people think are the reasons for their poor reception.

Go figure, people want to watch movies with characters who entertain them, not long-form propaganda that just happens to use characters who on the surface appear to be the same as those who entertained them in the past. Disney chose to be the witch with the poisoned apple, and they simply can't fool everyone.

I think they are getting their target audience wrong.

Their audience is predominantly young males who don't care about wokeness, but do care about story consistency.

Disney seem intent on introducing wokeness to absolutely everything, and using Hollywood story writers.

What I mean about Hollywood story writers, is people who write a story for dramatic effect and throw accuracy and consistency out the window. The target audience won't accept that. They want stories that make sense and are consistent.

When it comes to wokeness, they have compromised quality for correctness. But what did Disney expect, when they keep on employing people who have a real stick up their *** about white males? Of course that's not going to go down well with the audience, most of their audience are white males!

It's a real shame. Not only are they destroying the franchises, but they are turning people against any form of wokeness or feminism. They are really damaging the movements they are trying to implement by over-doing it and forcing it on people who just don't want it.

I think it's more like "We're effing Disney. What are they gonna do, watch Warner Bros? LOL. We'll make decent humans of them whether they like it or not!!!"

MCU simply expanded too much. They wanted to cash out too much with series, introducing lesser known characters and the like, meaning it was all over the place. The first 3 phases had a clear end goal and were only movies that tied together better.

Wakanda Forever. Teenage Iron-Woman
The Marvels. Teenage girl as the new Fury, teenage girl version of Arrow.

Somehow it seems to me like Disney becomes "man"phobic..

And please don't get me wrong, I have NO problems with superheroines!

In the comics she's called Phyla-Vell and is the genetic created child of Mar-Vell and the Titan Elysius.
