usually we disagree on everything but on this it seems we would agree.
It’s just fake good deeds and kinda exploitative. I think that’s why he’s been getting slack for it
I just feel like broadcasting good deeds isn't right.
Quite a few people don't understand philanthropy works and therefore MrBeast too.
It's like if someone is trying to do good in the world, they must have some secret hidden agenda?
The way it works is a tax cut benefit granted to them doing philanthropy or large charities. It curbs very rich people from paying high taxes. Yet instead of paying your government those taxes to build roads, etc, it's money ending up to other causes anyways. Then creating a mass moment upon that, others join in to donate too or give additional watch count views, that adds to advertising or sponsorship revenues.
Money does still cycle around, just in a more seen way.
Well I'm sad that you would rather the child starve to death... that's really, really sad.
Goodbye... I think it's time to block, I don't care about the broadcasting... only the deeds
Ignore that user, he had username changed, was spamming and being toxic on purpose to get the account (which might be hijacked) banned on purpose. Got his wish for now.
If you wish to block me due to you misreading what I said, that's totally fine. There's a name for what you tried to do; I just don't recall it. It's when someone can't come back with anything decent, so they take what you say and twist it into something negative. Because nowhere did I ever say that I wanted children to starve, so shame on you.
You've made some posts that I have agreed with, but seeing how you've twisted my words and accused me of such a thing is downright wrong. So go ahead and block me. I don't want someone speaking to me anyway who is going to accuse me of such things. That sort of behavior is as bad and as childish as those who sling ad hominem attacks around.
Edit: The word I was looking for was "straw man fallacy."
Matt.6
[1] Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
[2] Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
[3] But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
[4] That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
like omg that ad is just so cringe... feels like a family guy cutscene or something... but it's a real ad for charity?!

It's not only on steam but other media also. It is pretty clear that we now live in a time were many people will consider a white person who tries to help anyone of colour to be some what a racist or an white supremacist.... I don't understand this BS myself but here we are.
Clear Mr Beast is making money out of this but at the same time, he is helping many people get fresh drinking water to drink, to cook, to wash themselves but some how this has turned into something else. I challenge anyone here with a good heart to put their money were their mouth is and go to a 3rd world nation and do something good.
