Should every holy book be edited to remove dangerous parts of it?

Parts that for thousands of years have caused endless conflicts and suffering

Remove non-conformity
Remove religion/race is above country

Remove its okay to kill people of other religions
Remove its okay to mock people of other religions
Remove that anyone that doesn't follow this religion is less of a person or may be harmed
Remove anti-lgbt parts
Remove leaving the religion means death
Remove honor killing
etc

And if so, how could we get the world to agree to do it?

It'll change a lot, over time.

Because if you have no book that tells you to hate, legislate against someone, kill them, etc. They'll have a hard time coming up with reasons to do those things. Sure they'll still find them, but they may find reasons based on logic, and logic can be reasoned with. A man in the clouds telling you everything can't be reasoned with.

I think you have a lot of hate in your heart for religion and religious people, and if you want to live with bitterness, that's fine, but no matter what you think or what you want, you will never take my God away from me. There could be a decree set out that anyone who has a Bible could be tossed in prison or have their lives ended, and I would still hold on to my Bible until death. I would die for my right to serve God. I will never give up my Bible.

Satanism's main religion book isn't religion really, its atheism. But yes, edit out sacrificing humans. Thats really wrong in a religion book that masses follow and act out.

I never said ALL, I'm talking very few passages. Mainly ones that are used to cause hate, killing, etc.

You say that it doesn't mean much to you, but that's all you talk about in your posts, and it's all over your profile.

If you wish to serve lucifer, that's totally your right, but you shouldn't be advocating to take away the rights of others to serve their god.

I don't seek to say you can't love Jesus, Allah, mosses, etc. Nor say you cannot love your god.

What I say is remove passages that call for killing, harming, etc others. And you can only say by me wanting an end to the endless hate these passages have caused in the past and may in the future. Is that I'm hate filled.

Hell how about this, I edit these passages out and I accept all the bad karma and blame any one else would have gotten for not killing or harming someone for religious reasons by the passages being gone.
