well. in the AvP comics and 1st movie it is shown that they already have. they taught us writing, how to build, astronomy, mathematics and how to hunt properly.

I always believed the Alien was at least as smart as the Predator. When they original made the movie, they were going to have the alien speak in Riply's voice for an SOS. I don't blame them for cutting in the film, but being able to self procreate and rapidly grow would make them one of the most dangerous things in the galaxy.

IF we take the film Alien and only the film Alien and not the rest of the movies which goes into origins etc.

in the AvP shooters (both the 2000 and its remake) as well in the comics and the 1st AvP movie it shows that Yautja already treat the Xenomorphs as we call them extremely carefully.
that's why the Queen is frozen in Antarctica and why it takes 3 legit Queen kills to rank up in the Yautja social ladder. it's their most prized trophy.
