Any good RTS games?
Hi, Im a PC/Console gamer and I really like RTS games, the feel of commanding massive armies always gets me.

I play alot of RTS games, like Halo War, Red Alert 3, Dawn of War 1 and all it's expansions, Men of War, Star Wars: Empire at War, and such.

I would like some RTS recommendations if you have any.

Please, no games that would be a beast for my computer. Thanks in advance, and sorry for any bad grammar.

How is Total War not quite the usual RTS
In the majority of RTS games [like C&C, war/starcraft, Dawn of War, etc.], you build a base and an army on an individual [battle] map from scratch, then when that fight is over, you go to a new map and start from scratch again. The "world" map is often just a way to connect the "battle" maps.

In the TW games, there is much more depth to the over all world, and your armies are persistant.

But thats singleplayer :/
In multiplayer pvp you only have a budget and you get what troops you want to bring and fight
No retaining (unless youre playing shogun2 avatar conquest) trrops or any benefits
Then you move on to the next battle with someone else, select a budget, and repeat
The only thing that is different is that battles are at a larger scale and you cant recruit troops and build buildings in the battle

Im not starting an argument, i just felt that the series is underrated eventough its so epic xD

I didn't think of it that way. I never play MP RTS because it's often distilled down to the fastest/first to attack wins, and I like to take my time. I'm a turtle.
