Programs to sort folders by size?
Windows 11 cannot do it by default. Does anyone know of any programs that can do that?

Or if you want a text list, not a GUI, then use can use the PowerShell script from that page:

Or you can do it in FAR Manager or probably also in Total Commander.

Open file explorer.
Switch to Details view.
Observe that there may be a column for size.(if its not there you can add/remove columns)
The size column is clickable.

What? Does this mean the right click sort by and then selecting size has gone from windows 11?
No, it is still here from Windows 10, but it basically does not work at all. It can sort files, but not folders. The best I could do there was use properties to find all of the folders' sizes manually. That's pretty dumb, to me.

I love WinDirStat so much I linked it in my profile description.

I prefer SpaceSniffer(same concept, easier to navigate).
For linux there are some Disk Usage tools built in, but I like "Graphical Disk Map".
A quick google search and here's a useful article:

(And of course by coincidence "Graphical Disk Map" is the first one mentioned)
