Cool/unknown facts about animals
What is a cool or interesting fact that you know about an animal?

Dogs can only see blue, yellow, and some shades of gray. So if you have a pet dog it would be nice to get them a toy or stuffed animal in any of those colors. :doggy:

The hummingbird is the only bird that can fly backwards.

with blue and yellow they can see greens perfect.

Koalas have smooth brains. Not a sinhle wrinkle on it. Koala is also regarded the dumbest animal in the world.

Oh I just looked it up and saw those 3 colors. Maybe I'll have to do more research

Wow, that's interesting. I didn't even know that all other birds can only fly forwards actually... 2 facts in 1

And thanks. A lot of the threads on here have been really serious lately so that's why I made this lighthearted one to switch things up

here they did some research on why they sometimes do this and it seems they do it to show off to others or just for the fun of it. they are really silly.

Wow. I just looked it up to see how they don't get overheated and it said dogs pant to keep cool

Also dogs only sweat from their paw pads which is pretty interesting

Horses can't vomit, which is why you rarely see them at frat parties.

1. rodents cannot vomit
2. polar bears skin is black
3. butterflies taste with their feet.
4. otters hold hands while sleeping.
just to name a few.
