no, i am being very genuine. joe rogan is highly popular among right wing people, the number one podcast in the world actually. so uh...yeah, it is pretty disturbing to see someone call him "left wing".
well to some americans here i fall somewhere between "hyper omega communist far left" level and "omega hyper socialist far left" level, but for my own country i am just left wing.
and sure, in the past. donald trump was a democrat at one point too, yes? but right now joe rogan definitely favours a certain crowd.
The left’s problem is that they believe their own propaganda. They live in echo chambers where they’re never challenged, so they assume they’re the smartest people in the room. But when their ideas are put to the test, they fall apart. That’s why they melt down when confronted with reality—because they’ve never had to defend their beliefs in an environment where failure has real consequences.
Slowly fell off when he was leaning into react content, and getting more opinionated. I preferred his gaming stuff. Last time I looked at his youtube channel he was doing a ton of political content, and I just don't care for his takes on those subjects.

"Fast forward to 2020, I was locked inside my apartment during the COVID-19 outbreak when I came across a content creator named “Asmongold.” I saw that he made lots of videos about World of Warcraft. Or, more accurately, he made a lot of videos about the current state of World of Warcraft. He had apparently become disillusioned with what the game had become, a sentiment I struggled to connect with as someone who hadn’t even thought about the game since briefly trying it out upon its initial release in 2005. Still, given that the game was a cultural phenomenon at one point in time, I clicked through several of his videos to see how it turned a decade and a half later."
actually the disturbing part is he IS educated, and even rather intelligent. but he still chooses to espouse conspiracy theories and lies to make money. or say and do cruel things because it makes his audience laugh.
if he were three fries short of a happy meal like some of these other grifters, i could almost pity him. but the fact that he has opportunity to use his knowledge for good but chooses not to places him squarely in "arsehole" territory to me.
