Why people hate Asmongold?

I hink he is a great streamer so I don't understand why people hate him? Please tell me

I dunno why but I can't stand that guy, at the same time I only 'watch' streamers if I stand to benefit (drops etc) and I don't watch him ofc but he irritates me.

You likely disagreed with some opinion he had, asmon has very strong opinions and stubborn about them and a lot of people hate that intensely. i've watched the guy enough to know the hate people have for him doesn't really hold any logic. he just says things people don't like. and they fume when he shuts them out from talking to him about said opinions.

i also disagree with a lot of what he says, but i'm an adult and someone elses opinions don't cause me to hate them. i just disagree and move on.

The other side that hates him are just kids who have some issue with react content, because they just don't like it. For these people, it's a "get over it" situation.

I don't hate him, that takes effort, he just seems kind of like a douche to me and frankly I couldn't care less, not supporting him is the most I can be arsed to do.

I was talking in general. I know he’s not fat. However the previous point stands: why do people worship these annoying streamers? Twitch sucks these days. It was good back before Amazon takeover - now it’s not.

I like Zack as a person and I like some of his non gaming opinions but his gaming opinions are mostly garbage.

I liken the dude to Dr Disrespect. He's a regular Joe who plays a character because it's successful and makes him loads of money. The rare times you get to see the real Zack, he seems like a pretty smart and chill guy, but the character Asmongold? Nah, he's a douche.

That's just it. You aren't seeing a true person. You're seeing an online persona that he created and that persona is just annoying...
