Why people hate Asmongold?

I hink he is a great streamer so I don't understand why people hate him? Please tell me

Because he's popular and young people instinctively reject the popular because they think it makes them non-conformist and cool.

Or maybe because Asmon is kinda annoying and his community is one of the most toxic ones in online gaming?

I liken the dude to Dr Disrespect. He's a regular Joe who plays a character because it's successful and makes him loads of money. The rare times you get to see the real Zack, he seems like a pretty smart and chill guy, but the character Asmongold? Nah, he's a douche.

Because he said something that did not align with their opinion once therefor he's toxic forever. Dude is one of the most level headed popular people out there. Yeah he's wrong somtiems or has different opinions than me but holy cow some people are seriously brain dead over "Said one thing I didnt like = always auto bad"

He has the opinion of "I'm right and I'm always right until you prove to me otherwise. And when you show me that I was wrong about something, well now I know whats right and now I'm right again. I'm not going to believe something I dont think is right so show me im not right and I'll change and still be right" and people often take or create extreme scenarios to make niche circumstances to where he's wrong on something he's speaking broadly about or in a different context.

Other times its that he's more into genres others dont enjoy and that can feel like he hates something you love. Such as this being turn based and he doesnt like turn based so he's probably not going to play it.
