What game do you always come back to?
For me, it’s Portal 2.

game of Real Life :steamhappy:
after every game I play, I always end up coming back to Reality,, can't avoid it. :steammocking:
It changes as years go by, but over the last five years,

Monster Hunter World,
Warframe,
Fire Emblem,

There's others, but those are the big ones.

For some reason, although Fire Emblem Fates may have one of the lowest quality stories in the franchise, I always come back to Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest because of how fun and challenging its maps are.

If you like Fire Emblem for it's game play, you might want to try the newest game, 'Fire Emblem Engage' if you have a Switch.

I played Birthright three years ago. It wasn't until I got to the final map, where I willingly threw the lives of my units away as cannon fodder to get to the boss that I realized that I didn't actually like the game. I bought Conquest along side it, but I have never been able to bring myself to play it very far. I've tried twice. Nothing against conquest, I just don't like Fates narrative-wise. I like the pairing mechanic, though.

There are more, but lets keep it at that.

I'm afraid to replay Dragon Age: Origins again because I'm worried I won't appreciate as much. It just lives in my memory as being a masterpiece.
It's usually retro games on the original hardware. Nothing better than a day or two with your old N64 and Dreamcast.
