Dumbest 'moral choices' in games?
A lot of games attempt to have complex moral choices, but they often are just black and while with little grey area that would actually be a moral dilemma.

My favorites include:
Fallout 3: Nuke small town for money or don't.
Doom 3: Gas person or don't.
Bioshock: Kill child or don't.
Fallout 3: Become a slaver or don't.
Fallout 4: Sell child as a slave to raider or don't.

What are some of your favorite complex moral dilemmas in a game?

All of them are dumb.

Without thinking too much about it only Bioshock's little sisters stand out. As the only expression of a chainless slave's will over his creator.
Optionally change the default pronouns for your created character's natural sex, or boycott the game/franchise and rage about it on toxic, decaying social media platforms.

Edit: oh, yeah, and having to choose between those while completely forgetting the game is not accessible/affordable to most of the people on the planet, and that you are very privilleged just for considering this non-issue relevant.

Not sure about "dumbest", but the honour system in Red Dead Redemption 2 was kind of pointless. There's no real incentive or pressure to do a low honour run other than curiosity, and it changes very little in the game apart from some visuals and music.

That explains a lot about your opinions.

It does. I'm not fond of immersing into contrived polarized "moral choices" on the level of the trolley problem.

The stupid fire at the end of Souls games. There's no reason to keep it going.

Video games are immoral. Thus, playing video games are most dumbest choice of moral.
Fable.

Get to the end of the game:
A) Sacrifice your sister and get a worthless sword that doesn't even matter at this point.
B) Don't sacrifice her and just glitch through the stairs and get it anyway.

Mass effect 3 ending. Pick your favourite color, your choices were supposed to matter for 3 games

Dumbest system for me is the original neverwinter nights. Good or bad characters follow exact same story and quest and even ending, the different is you choose nice or douchebag conversation, with no consequences.

Everything in Markarth. Side with the Silverbloods or Forsworn? Nah, I just kill everyone. Except the Orc Blacksmith lady and her apprentice. And the ladies in the temple.

Literally everyone else in the city is corrupt or an insane cannibal.

in an rts, neverwinter njghts 2 I believe bitmight have been another like spellforce.. you are asked to enter a cave and murder a sect.

it is brought as some anoying religion pestering you and you requisted for them to leave.

however when entering you discover the real truth..
-this a den of vampires.. a cave system full of them..
-this sect is all priests of the light who at own damger carry pieces of pure light.. and pray..
basicly inviting the vampires to step into the light and be saved (but also turned to dust but at least their souls be saved)
But also aware that while presence they cannot go out and feed abd create more of them..

You are left with an impossible task.
-if you slay the vampires.. you both failed the quest and the priests hate you.
-if you walk away than you cannot continue.. -part of mainquest you need information off the main vampire about the past..
*if you kill all priests.. you become evil yourself and get bitten .
*if you knock out all the lights the vampires are greatfull and give you the information you needed..
oh and you would get a nice fat reward...

you just could not win there

Fallout 3 karma: Go on a killing spree of innocents, make up for it by giving water to a beggar.

Fallout NV karma: Killing prison gang is OK, stealing their stuff is not.
