What RTS is the best ever?

For me the best i ever played is Starcraft, no doubt. Works great even today and it is free too (optional paid remastered version which is great too). I played it since like early 2000s and spent hundreds of hours playing with friends (yeah not that much i know but almost every minute was great). I wonder if it will ever come to Steam now that Blizzard came here? Starcraft 2 is pretty good as well but not nearly as well made and competitive (in a good way) as the first.

Age of empires 2 for me, hands down. That said, i have a huge fondness for star wars galactic battlegrounds even though i know its pretty much a reskin

RTS = Real Time Strategy.

I can't say what is the best. I haven't played all of them yet.
Most games have a form of real time strategy in them.

Obviously, the games that I think are the best, are the games that you think are the best.

My brain is too slow for real time strategy lol. You could kinda argue Pikmin is a very non traditional RTS, so I’ll just go with Pikmin 2
