How did grapefruit ever become more than one tree? I mean, animals have to eat the fruit and poop out the seeds, right? So how did that happen? Were there no other options at all? How is it that in the literal tropics, some poor literal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ got so damn hungry that rather than looking for a dadgum orange like a hundred feet away, it felt compelled to eat the dang grapefruit? How does that happen? How? It makes no sense at all.
