Ready or Not by Void Interactive will never be released

This is a scam EA title.

They no longer give any meaningful updates and are lying about the expected release date. Company no longer has a CEO, no physical address after closing the sutdio, and no devs (minus fake linkedin accounts). The only "reps" are mod accounts like Tap and Sinner which perpetuate lies about the release and current game state. Steam is complicit in this scam by allowing them to continue to earn revenue without performing the proper due diligence.

They were incorporated in New Zealand abd per ToS all legal issues so to speak go under New Zealand jurisdiction. New Zealend actually has some pretty punishing laws for this type of consumer deception/fraudulent activity. I will be making a complaint with the New Zealand Commerce Commission. I will also be bringing a small claim against the company, just to see the disclosure of financial records. Should be interesting to actually see where the money went, and subsequent lawsuits.

I don't disagree with you OP. But toss it in there with Paralives and the others my memory fails to remember. Not the first, won't be the last, and I'll get their game, if it's finished in a good state.

Except, as you've seen, nothing has prevented anyone from presenting evidence.

In fact, you flat out said the EA disclaimer didn't talk about a product possibly not being finished. The quote I posted shows that to be completely false.

This is just another case of someone not reading the disclaimer, jumping in, then getting upset when they feel they got burned.
