LOL this reminds me of Shenmue...
Sometimes I hear people ask why do they pay voice actors so much in modern games and I'm like YOUTUBE TIME.
I love the English voice acting in Monster Hunter Rise. Its so silly sometimes, it can make me laugh.
english voice acting compares unfavorably with rifftrax.
The English script translation was the atrocious product of nepotism. Nobody cared enough to do it right; they're trash games designed to undermine the narrative of the first game, so if a neptoism case ♥♥♥♥♥ the script up all the better.
In most other languages, dubbing is done much better.
The exception is Russian, that dub over in a very monotone voice.
And personally, I think learning a new language is a waste of time
i never beat it, but i still remember it fondly because it mostly just trial and error while trying to figure out where i should go next
