If you can’t read an analog clock you’re literally ♥♥♥♥♥♥. And should go back to school.

Oh, I'm sure back in the 20th century, people who were stuck in the 19th thought this about unit conversions for hay.

Just like how you think it about analog clocks because you're stuck in the 20th.

Not understanding what do you mean with " reading analog clocks"...

Like is just numbers on a clock , everybody can tell what hour is it by looking the numbers on the wall where the clock is regardless of age... :steambored:
So at 1 or 2 years old you knew which hand is the hour hand and which is the minute hand and which was the second hand on an analog clock.

Our house has more analog clocks then digital as well as many other houses... so no...
I find reading analog clocks without the numbers instead just a straight bar for the number much easier to read at a glance. There is one process less to well process.

I dunno what planet you live on but here on Earth, if somebody happens to be in London and look up at the big clock and can't read it, they'll just pull out their phone.

Sounds like they are probably not smart enough to use a phone. And why were they looking at "Big Ben" for the time in the first place if they can't read an analogue clock? Did they forget about their limitations, or are they thinking it's been upgraded to digital?

The world really is going backwards....... God help future generations, as their prospects don't look good.
Analog clocks are not obsolete

There a host of industries that use analogue clocks primarily. People saying otherwise are clueless and don't get out much.

I'm seeing a phobia of analogue clocks, I put this down to those who are embarrassed about being unable to read them. An education system is failing if it can't teach pre-school level topics and this deficiency carries on to adulthood.

I'm getting on a bit so I may be mistaken, but I don't recall school teaching me how to read an analogue clock, I think it was my parents.
My school made it mandatory to learn CPR in middle school...so since then I've had an actual field medics degree in CPR, a firsthand experience in Deliberation Use, proper multi-field resuscitation work and a full teaching of how to deal with someone who is unresponsive, passed out, may or may not be breathing and displays no response to stimuli.

Granted from my understanding we were taught this because a few students were actually medically bound to certain things that would require students to preform the tasks of field-ready hands before hospital staff could arrive.

We had to draw hour and minute hands on clocks based on a given time. Preschools normally have vibrantly coloured interactive clocks for teaching time, at least they used to.

The reason analogue clocks will always be useful is because they visualise proportionality.
they're completely pointless now. It's porbably easier at this point to manufacture a digital clock.
all kinda of obsolete stuff.
