Also they are all adults now which is kind of funny to me
It is a love it or hate it kind of thing. I guess. I love the combination. I do not like the type of metal where they growl like animals the whole song. The newest songs that were just released after a long break do not sound the same anymore. Less metal and Kawaii and more hip-hop or K-pop. Su is a good singer, whether you like her style or not.
better.
As for the girls... not my cup of tea. I prefer "Nemophila", "TRiDENT", "Unlucky Morpheus" and "Bridear". "Hagane" were on that list too, but they broke up....
Might want to check out "Nemophila" then. Their songs "Dissension", "Revive" and "Oiran" should be up your alley.
Ok...
Here's an example of what I mean:

I dig. Mayu from Nemophila is more a scream than a growl. By the way, I loved that song you relayed. Arch Enemy are awesome too.
I first found out about babymetal with this vid:

While I do respect them for trying new and creative things I wouldn't really go out of my way to look for more.
I'd much rather just find a less kawaii all-girl metal band from Japan instead.
They exist. But not as much fun

They exist:
Nemophila
Bridear
Unlucky Morpehus
Aldious
Lovebites
Also, Band-Maid are not metal. They are a rock band. A GOOD rock band but not a metal band.
I'm surprised someone said Band Maid wasn't as "fun" as I find them far more entertaining from what I have seen of their live show videos and interviews. Although the crowd participation is on another level at a Baby Metal concert.
