Should the homeless be given tiny houses ?

Hi,

that kinda sounds like a solution. Or if you use a white festival tent and attach it to a porta potty and some camping stuff it could give people some form of dignity

and if you put these tents on a nice field they can form a society and maybe cultivate veggies and potatoes or something idk

i think ppL just wanne keep discussing the issue instead of dishing out some stuff or just create some kind of homeless camp idk

just messed up that people in our "modern" society feel the need to defecate on the streets to make a point... i mean: really ?

I Hope to start a more mature discussion that actually make people see that this is not actually funny. People on the streets. Also for your lives! ( a crazy homeless person on crack could attack you randomly )

Housing shortage is a serious problem. Every living being has the need for a territory that provides shelter and livelihood. In the meantime, all territories are occupied. Migration is therefore not a solution because it leads to competition in occupied territories. Permanent growth is therefore not a solution.

I doubt that enough space is available to provide everyone with a home of their own, apart from the land consumption and environmental destruction.

Let me reintroduce my idea on this subject. Instead of tiny homes, repurpose old motels into apartments for single parents with children. Which is a type of tiny home I suppose.

I agree with this particular plan's level of quality. The youngsters can enjoy themselves in the front garden and gain knowledge of the world's marvels right alongside the highway. I have heard numerous accounts of youngsters residing in the Central United States having a fantastic time in pursuit of tumbleweed.

Shipping container houses suck. Once you gut them and cut windows they end up being pretty damn expensive in their own right and you'd be way better off with a trailer or something.

Yeah they already do that... most of the homeless men are the only people who need a small solution for my idea of a mobile Wagon with small cast iron wood stove, and deploy able water proof wind resistant maybe with hard top shelter system.

Has no one considered that we potentially do not have to provide support for these individuals who have been dealt a particularly challenging hand in life? Allow the nation-level entity to determine the action they seek to pursue with respect to this portion of the population and their housing circumstances. Why do we continually have to impose a responsibility on our own shoulders? I am thoroughly convinced that everyone has adequate anxieties, obligations, and matters requiring management that exist within their individual sphere of life.

Yep.
There literally ARE homeless shelters all over the place. Many of them are overwhelmed thanks to our horrendous immigration policies, but generally these shelters would give homeless people food and shelter but many homeless would not accept it.
