Well, I consider the core messages, since I think that the detail has been distorted over time. And I am sure that there are many men who valiantly support those core messages. My gripe is aimed at the ones that change sides according to their phobias. It always seemed very strange to me that the most outspoken amongst us for "toilet rights" (!) tend to be men, when really is that is's not their call.
The only reason why all Bathrooms are not Neutral in the first place,
is to keep men from Spying on Women in the Bathrooms, it's about
Privacy, & it's always been about Privacy...
None of it ever had to do with which Gender you were...
It's to keep Men from causing trouble for Women...
That is the only reason...
The reason only 1 Bathroom exists in a Small Shop being Neutral
is because the Shop is too small to separate Bathrooms, & People
can't afford to hold all these so called Bathroom Choices your all
asking for... They can't afford all these Changes you want...
What your asking, is to change bathrooms based on Gender only,
& that was never the reason why there are only 2 Bathrooms at all,
it was never based on a want or a need, or a feeling, or whatever
you call it Today... It was always based on the idea that some People
just didn't want other People causing trouble for them...
That is why, & it's stupid to change it...
Even now Today, there are People trying to portray that
they are Transgender, just to get into the Oposite Bathroom
so they can cause trouble for the Oposite Gender, & that
shouldn't be allowed, but the whole ideology surrounding
Transgender use in Public Bathrooms permits them to do so...
& it's already causing trouble where there never needed
to be trouble before, & the whole Concept is just stupid...
If it was me, & I wasn't comfortable using the restroom at
the Public Place, all cause I had to share it with People
who want to use them...
If it was me? I'd go out back, & go on the building it's self,
or I wouldn't go at all, & just wait till I got home, & hope
I could make it home...
I would rather leave over a Bathroom issue, just get up,
& walk out, then to have to share a Bathroom with someone
I wasn't comfortable staring at me, while I go...
Public Bathrooms were never about Phobias,
they were always about handling Negative Stress & Being Under Pressure...
Hell, I might even go right on the floor in the bathroom, to make it
uncomfortable for the People going to use them, just simply to
cause discomfort in the People that are doing the same to me...
Sounds like you're constructing a false hierarchy to demonstrate that all political alignments one could possibly genuflect regarding are similarly false hierarchies completely divorced from their core issues. Leaving only empty messaging and conflicts of interest.
correct
it's almost like letting trans women into women's bathrooms won't change how much cis men harass women
if that's the case, then if a country implemented self-id laws, it would be logical to see an increase in sexual harassment in women's bathrooms there, right?
Grassroots preps the soil for turfing.
I would find it strange for someone in a dress and make up to walk into the mens room.
Certainly make me do a double take and check the door anyway ha ha
I'm advocating for gender-neutral bathrooms, which many will construe as the same thing just like they construe trans as the same thing.
You don't have to care.
So nothing changed despite transwomen being allowed to use the women's bathroom?
Good, thanks for acknowledging that.
that being said, tbh i think ideally we would have gn bathrooms as an option, rather than either gendered or gender-neutral ones
That increases the bathroom budget by 50% across the board, rather than reducing it by 50%. Means we have to have three bathrooms now instead of two.
From a socioeconomic standpoint broad adoption of gn bathrooms is more ideal, and if people miss couches and chatting before, after, and during pooping, we can implement lounge-based bathrooms.
