You don't have to post on a thread if you think it's toxic.

All the others get closed, either by brigadiers swamping it to start a flame war about something unrelated or, more rarely, because it was necroing a thread where the usual suspects were already behaving normally. So the mods simply lock it, while ignoring other necro'd threads.

It's just an automod with some mechanical turks who go down a list of known bugs and revert 'officially incorrect' classifications.

From a system design standpoint they HAVE TO ignore false positives in order to train the AI correctly. We're just guinea pigs for that.

The alternative is that they're all literally nazis.

Your_White_Knight was around before WhiteKnight77 showed up, and their activity occurs in tandem. One gradually faded while the other fulfilled the argumentative role that the other previously held in topics.

Most of the posters with 'clean' records strongly resemble and tend to hold either the same argumentative position or an inverted parody as other users.

The moderation has systematically created an environment wherein alts are normalized, regular users are punished and encouraged to have alts, and extremists are free to hide behind both.

I think the new mods are great. I was getting banned for some pretty stupid things, as in, simply pointing out that there's alternative opinions. or being critical of the Ukraine War. And I'm not gonna lie, Valve lost money over those mods. I refuse to buy games when I'm banned and for a certain amount of time afterwards.

Now if I got banned for a "real" reason, I could understand I could still buy games, but I was essentially being banned for having the wrong opinion and it was pissing me off.

I even opened a ticket and wrote the mods letting them know I wasn't going to be buying ANY games from them in the future and I'd be recommending against their platform to friends. But then I realize similar to the left-wingers I enjoy debating with, they need a "path" to redemption. So I changed my mind and said any unfair bans I won't buy games from them for X amount of time and I informed them of my decisions. I've been treated fairly so far.

And frankly, I think it'd be foolish for a game company to target right-wingers, we create better economies, and more free thinkers. If Big Tech supports the left, eventually they're come for our graphics cards and gaming computers, our rigs use more electricity. And there's alot of carbon that goes into the creation of our computers, lots of rare earth metals.

Compare the ability to buy video games with Bidenomics compared to Trump economy. Things were much cheaper in Trump's economy and I could afford more games.
