Why can't we follow Asian culture of shaming fat people?
So, that way everyone is pressured to stay fit and we wouldn't have any epidemic of health issues?

The dominant power wants everyone poisoned, dependent, and weak. Your body puts on weight when toxic load increases or hormones are disrupted, thus increasing estrogen to protect the brain and put on more fat, where it can store these toxins that it can't turn into water soluble compounds fast enough to remove through the kidneys. To make being obese unacceptable would eventually have people asking question, and the people who rule this place would have to scale back their mass poisoning schemes or risk being discovered.

It's not always people's fault that they're obese. It may be a condition.
Which has a cause. And can be solved. Instead they become prey and cattle for the medical-industrial complex.

You've been inverted. Your "empathy" is weaponized and it doesn't matter if it's their fault.
They used to be shamed, in the 90s and 00s they were often joked in comedy.. Some comedians made their weight their whole thing such as Gabriel Iglesias. There was also chris farley.

You really should read the DSM-5.
Personally I don't think shaming really works all that well when it comes to weight. Sometimes it makes people feel bad enough that they eat more.

Part of the issue is food has too many calories and too little nutrition. And food companies are allowed to put things in food to make you want to eat more. Sometimes bragging about it, like "Bet you can't eat just one".

smart observation, bec. the blood sugar level is somehow the most important role with being low-fat and medication makes mostly the opposite. so a talk with the doctor is needed when the body gains weight through medication!
Obesity is a multi trillion dollar industry in the US. Between the health problems big pharma profits on, surgeries for back problems, medications for diseases like heart problems, diabetes, to all the money made in selling gym memberships, diet foods, diet plans, etc. There's just too many industries that depend on more fat people in the world.

It isn't okay that almost everything has sugar in it. It isn't okay the food has sodium nitrate. A lot isn't okay.

Heck almost no one has a stand up pc desk. So much weight could be lost if we were standing up at our pcs all day, rather than sitting.
More correctly: Pressured to stay thin, especially if you're a (biological) woman
