But singles do not consume all those date related things. So they do hurt the economy. We need more activities for singles and childless couples. Maybe a "dog park" for singles to frolic in?
On the other hand, being single means that they can give you more work and make you more busy than if you weren't single, which is a morale thing that exists even nowadays, so it's not actually that bad.
I'm of the opinion that being single is the only way to keep yourself sane and have a healthy mind.
From what I have heard, couples do want kids to spice things up, because they're bored..
He's a comedian. All decent comedians know how to channel their inner edgy teenager.
Greedy "sun" of a gun? Louis XVI.? ;P

And I've never heard of Seamus McLoughlin before but if he's a song writer, I probably wouldn't see it as a reliable source as a life quote.
I think it's generally good for a society to be family oriented, but I don't think it's immoral to want to be single. Some people just aren't cut out for the "married with kids" life.
Edit: Oops, no. I'm thinking of Seamus Coughlin. My bad lol.
Yeah, that's the right bloke. Somehow I thought his name's McLoughlin.
As in "as an excuse".
