The problematic nature of gaming journalist

Am writting this to put into words my feelings of frustration towards modern gaming journalism, which basically boils down too left wing liberal political zealots attacking game studios and developers personally often going out of their way to being devs under smear campaigns calling them homophobes , racist sexist and any other kind of slander you can think off simply for not pushing a left wing political agenda. If a video game is found to be racist because too many white characters in a game as well as just white characters in a game automatically makes it racist, or because the game lacks "representation" since nowadays apparently if your game doesn't have every mark on the modern progressive tick box of female strong and independent character , token minority character , gay character or a mix of any and all this sub groups that are elevated in the oppression charts of this journalists groups and the political agenda of the left. The consequences of not aligning with the message of this psychos you will be made to endure article after article slandering a game developer or studio because they simply didn't push the "correct" political narrative and it is sickeing. Think the biggest and latest example of this is what happened to Hogwarts legacy , the witcher series been critized for been too white same with kingdom come deliverance. It seems like nowadays gaming is all about telling the story you want to tell unless you don't want to tell a story full of characters approved by the liberal gustapo we reached a point where nowadays the female mc with a lesbo cut and personality of drywall is the modern day equivalent of the 2000's and early 2010's bold or buzzcut generic white male main character am sick of it. Let video game developers make whatever game they want , stop the demonization of telling stories with white main characters with white only cast and in white countries because these stories are just as valid as those who are more eastern centric or more focused on other diverse groups of people. Be it boycott or something we need to put a stop to game journalist websites like Polygon , TheGamer , kotaku and any "journalist" that interviews developers with a dagger in their robes ready to call them names because they find the developers vision of a game lacking in "representation and diversity". They are not been real journalist and they choose to report in this irrelevant topics rather than the ever growing more underhanded tactics employed by upper management in video game studios with ridiculous crunch cycles , tons of content been put on the chopping block to either be canned or sold later as DLC along with ever growing more intrusive micro transactions and battle passes. If their gonna use their platforms to hurt the gaming community rather than to help it nourish and develop properly then they don't deserve a platfrom at all either way people care more about the opinions of YouTube content creators and other members of their specific communities that actually care and have a passion for the game or setting their reviewing and talking about than what some random game journalist with a angeda to push has to say about anything.

Your argument is really pointless maybe if my english was so broken that it was incomprehensible you would have a point but the fact most people could read the text wall and understand the message i was trying to get across without been butthurt about the typos , running sentences and grammatical errors just goes to show you either don't care about the topic or lack the proper argumentative skills to counter what i said. What do you mean lmao? Decent games are currently in production but game journalist only care about how much buttsex between men is going to be in your game because i guess that is the only metric that matters when judging an RPG . EA , blizzard Activision and microsoft are doubling down in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ battle pass and scummy predatory practices yet all you hear from journalists is crickets. The reason they only call devs racist and do nothing to actually report in the real problems tge industry is facing is do to all of them playing things safe after all their on the payroll of the big gaming corporations they can't critize so instead of going after the ones pushing predatory sales practices they target and dox video game developers for not politically aligning with them.

I have never visited any of those websites that you speak of. I can't say I care much.
But an actual developer interview usually consists out of a group of players who are asking questions during a recorded video session, where they are given time to ask questions. Those players do not necessarily have to write for any specific website.
If the interview is posted (in text form) on a website, it should be an identical copy of what was said during the interview.

Still gets the point across. Video games are suppose to be an escape from stuff like political narratives and a place where everyone can come along and dark humor is very welcomed. We care so much about feelings now a days, that we don't consider how much its splitting communities apart, or how political narratives are being pushed in every game at ever second now. Like damn, we get it J.K Rowelling said something political and made some people mad. But if you don't like it just don't buy the game or Harry Potter related stuff, don't watch people who play it. That's fine, but the line is crossed when your full on sending death threats to people online and doxxing their families just because they played a damn game. I'm not even a fan of Harry Potter, I find it boring, but that whole controversy if anything did more harm than good for people who aren't straight. Sadly is not just video games but all media be it tv shows , movies and video games everything these days seems to be pushing the same left wing liberal agenda demonizing white people and traditions of old while uplifting the current status quote and it's regime is seriously getting annoying when you see history been bent and missrepresented to push a certain political narrative is all so tiresome it makes stories and games all feel the same when they all have the same political message with the same old villains pushing the same old tired narrative we have been forced to listen too ever since gamergate was a thing back in 2014 when things started to take off and get worst over time. It has greatly effected how video games are developed and the quality of games. Thanks to ESG scores who thanks to now the political backlash and bad rep it has accomulated by basically been a tool used by blackrock to economically reward corporations following their minority hiring quotas and political messaging their likely to change the name of this funds and continue pushing the same political diarreah they been pushing for years now. If your an industry insider or know anyone developing video games these days the studios have been restructured completely ever since the end of 2010 and the big explosion of the industry. Back in the day most of the crew developing a video game was software engineers and people who are familiar with the engine and the technical aspects of a video game , they where between 90 to 70% of the entire crew working on a game with all other departments been miniscule in comparison. While if you look at the structure of your average game studio these days you have if lucky a team of 5 to 15 software engineers and actual devs that work with the engine and developing the game itself all supported by a bloat of video game developers with zero technical skills making demands of the engineers to add features or promise fans mechanics that can't possibly be implemented before release , then you have the concept artist and designers often been double that of software engineers number in the 20 to 30 working on the comcept art and promotional material to the game though nowadays this position is more of a luxury and a lot of studios cut this workers completely by subsidizing the concept art to deviant art artist or free lancers they can undermine and underpay. And the gravest issue that's killing large game studios these days is advertising departments , human resources and other pencil pushers that do nothing in the office other than leeching off the companies tit all the while they pretend to be busy or qualified to do anything when in reality they waste millions in mediocre add campaigns with unrealistic promises and suicidal levels of hype for games that ensure their dead on arrival. ESG scores play a vital role in the way studios are structured these days because guess what? Most game devs specially the software engineers tend to be white or asian males with a nerdy disposition and a passion for video games but if a studio wants to get that fat stack of cash from blackrock their going to need to hire a lot more women and the right people of color such as blacks and hispanics and when merit isn't your priority when it comes to who you hire rather their skin color and creed obviously the quality of your dev team is going to suffer and i think we can all agree the quality of modern day video games has greatly stagnated compared to how it used to look back in the day and i think as time goes on things will just keep getting worst do to this policies that are rotting the industry from the inside though thankfully indie game devs and small studios have been picking up the slack. The game you proposed sounds like it would make for a magnificent video game but you seem to be missing a very important detail. A detail that ensures said game will never be made and if it ever does by an Indie team it will be so controversial it would probably get banned off steam and the devs blacklisted. Why ? Well because it would humanize the Germans that where alive during WW2 Germany and giving any sort of human feelings and characteristics to nazis is a huge red flag a mega no no in modern society, granted your not saying their actions where right but the mere act of implying these men and women of that era where nothing other than demonic charicatures of people who just have hatred in their hearts and are demons walking on earth anything other than this description would not be accepted in modern society. Nazis are and will always be restricted to be shooter fodder who say evil things in the German tounge and exist simply to be killed by the player character nothing less and nothing more that is just the status quote and trying to change that will get you in hot water. Granted the issue of superficial villains lacking on complexity and motive has been a thing in gaming for a while not to say villains who are complex , deep and sometimes empathetic don't exist but is more of a outlier than a rule. Personally since doxxing is a crime i say we start taking it seriously and charging insane fees to game journalist and their crooked friends who go out of their way to doxx people and contact their employers to try and get them fired and overall ruin their Iives simply because they disagree with the politics of that person or the person their doxxing enjoys a game they consider to be hateful. If this journalists and twitter zealots go out of their way to ruin the lives of others over politics then they deserve to be made pariahs , to lose their jobs and to be shamed for their hateful actions towards others for there is no one more vile than the person who destroys the lives of others under the premise of tolerance.

What's worse than gaming journalists? People who actually listen to them. Nobody should pay any attention to gaming journalists, not people into gaming, and not game devs. They aren't worth the brain cells you'll lose by subjecting yourself to them. Just leave them to scream into the void, with how little they matter becoming increasingly apparent the hoarser their voice gets.
