What random thing scared you as a kid?

For some reason when I was a young kid I was scared of getting on escalators. Just the parts where you get on and off. I always thought I'd get my foot stuck in it or something

And climbing up bleachers (like at a football field or in the gym at my school), I was scared I would miss a step and fall through the gaps in between them

Anything for you?

I mean, cartoons in years past would give ANYONE a fear of sand. If you saw somebody in sand, they were either sinking into it because it was quicksand, or dying of thirst because it was the desert, or running from a monster that somehow formed itself of the stuff.

Watching pet Sematary late at night by myself, I think i was maybe 6 or 7 years old.

It's so weird they still exist as an occupation and parents have them for their kids at parties and stuff

I think mimes are really cool, but clowns... It's crazy a parent would hire one for a kid's party

Clowns scared me as a kid and scare me even more has a grown up.

During the killer clown purge back in 2016, even Ronald McDonald was scared and went into hiding because the killer clowns were gunning for his head. He has yet to return to public life.
